Cottonwood Hot Springs

Wonderful staff locations and accommodations. Soaked for over 2 hours periodically exiting the hot springs to enjoy the additional perks of the hot springs. Cold plunge, sauna, enjoying the river soak set up, terrain, etc.

Even though parking was difficult, the pools didn't feel too crowded. With 5 pools to choose from, the river and the saunas, you always had somewhere to go and have some space. The lower temp pool was perfect for our toddler to enjoy the benefits of the hot springs. Clean facility.

It is supposed to be a calm and relaxing place. It's not when trans-men go into women's dressing room. Beware ladies, report it. There is a unisex place for these kind of people to change their clothes. So my visit was not pleasant. I won't be back!

Cottonwood is my safe space that I have frequented almost monthly for years now. There is something to be said for a non-corporation, locally owned business that I would happily pay more to support. The energy there is on point.

Visited on Aug 9, 2023 for a late afternoon soak. Mellow vibe here. The spring fed pools are great. Temps in the pools outstanding. People were chill. Tourists, locals and the staff very friendly. Nice scenery (saw one of the local mountain goats) and plenty of shade. Loved how you come and go for the day. The price is very reasonable. They ask for no electronics/phones in the pools area which I appreciated. Unfortunately I didn’t stay when it got dark (open till 12am) but guessing it would be amazing. Will definitely come back.
