Mound Mine

I must have parked near a mine on my recent visit to Cottonwood Lake. I did not see a mine. I did paddle board in Cottonwood Lake with other people and it was fabulous. The scenery and small lake are a great safe experience in the beautiful Colorado high country. Lots of parking, beach access, and multiple use. Worth visiting again and again.

This was a gorgeous hide out. Great fishing and boating.

Must have extreme 4x4 to get anywhere near cottonwood lake. Rvs and pull behind campers were stuck on road in a few areas
