Whetstone Mountain

I ended up falling and sliding down the mountain. By the time I reached the bottom, my prosthetic leg was honed and polished into that of a katana blade. I won’t be able to board my flight home, unless I remove it and walk on my hands.

A great trail for sharpening ones prosthetic appendage into an FAA non-compliant blade. Plan accordingly.

Mount Whetstone is a big and burley mountain right next to The town of Crested Butte. It is a dominant view from up on the mountain resort area looking down. There are some really beautiful skies over and it makes for great photographs.

When you look at this mountain from the Base Area at Mt Crested Butte, it appears to be what's left after an ancient volcano. Very cool. It is high now. If it was a volcano, I wonder how tall it was originally.

I was slightly disappointed by this mountain. I thought it would be bigger.
