Did this hike on July 11th. Did not get to Oxford, maybe would have attempted if I had another hour. Beautiful hike up through the forest, the wildflowers are incredible this week. More columbines than I could ever count. I got to tree line as the sun was hitting the eastern slopes, perfect timing, no clouds. The ascent at the end is intense, definitely pace yourself if you’re new to this. I recommend poles, and maybe crampons, I had poles and no crampons. Icy during the last 1/2 mile ascent, very shaded by the mountain. Only a couple sketchy moments with icy steep parts but on the way down most of it had melted. Great view at the top. Summit at 8:30 was great, wind wasn’t unbearable but I’m glad I had gloves and a hat. Overall I loved this hike and would do it again. It’s steep and gets to the point very quickly. Total hike time was 6 hours.

Very neat winter hike. Crampons not recommended but required for winter ascent if going off route a bit especially. Spent 2 nights on a ledge views were amazing.

Fun mountain, if you come up from the Missouri gulch TH. This is a pretty steep and long switchback traverse. A good workout indeed with a relatively nice top. The views back into the basin are incredible and really cool to see the lakes up there. An easy hour ey separates this peak from Oxford. In my opinion the hardest part is coming back up Belford from Oxford. Great hike!

Beautiful hike, and the scenery is beautiful. Definitely a harder 14’er I would say, took us around 9 hours round trip.
