Tin Cup Pass is located west of the St Elmo ghost town in the Gunnison and San Isabel national forest. This moderate-difficulted trail is 13 miles long with it's highest point reaching over 12,000ft. This trail is very rocky and narrow at some points as it winds up along the shelf trail, but offers some incredible views and hiking along the way.
Tin Cup Pass is an amazing trail. It can be done by any stock Rubicon, if you are a confident driver. If you are not a confident driver make sure you have a ground guide to help you in certain areas where you won’t have enough ground clearance. 💯
Worth the drive for sure! Nothing too technical! Beautiful views!
A great ATV trail!! Right at the Continental Divide! A great ride!!
Visit the cemetery while touring Tin Cup, it's solemn well preserved and easily walkable and without sidewalks. Trees growing out of the oldest graves are creepy! The food and music was filling and entertaining in town at the only eatery along with others who venture up to the pass..
