I can't say enough good things about Taylor Park. Every time I go, I find something new. Diverse riding. And tons of it. So many views. We hunt old mine and ghost towns. Taylor is full of it. And epic riding.

Very beautiful! Lots of open camping with access to the fishing and a ton of off-roading trails. We saw deer, moose, and a bear even came into camp at night, beware. There are also, of course, a lot of off-road vehicles that make noise. If this is bothersome to you, you might not want to stay the night here. Please note that Taylor Park Trading Post is the only place that we found in the area to dump your trash, and they charge $5 for a kitchen bag and $10 for a larger one. Make sure you plan ahead and DO NOT leave your trash on the ground. Pick up after yourself.

Love it here, been going since I wore diapers faithfully each year with a few years being missed but in those missed years I was there in spirit, real talk!

Gorgeous place for a stop ❤️. I let my dogs off leash so they could run around and play in the water. They had an absolute blast! The scenery was unreal. There were a few people camping, a few ATVs, and some folks on dirt bikes. Everyone was friendly and respectful. 10/10 would make the drive from Denver before snowfall again. Cottonwood Pass is apparently closed during winter, so, plan accordingly. Also, keep checking for updates about toxic algae. There was some in 2022, but not in 2023. It gets cold at 9,000+ feet, so bring a sweater or jacket and pack a lunch if you plan to stay for a while. (It helped to have an off-roading vehicle for the spot we chose)

Definitely a great place to camp. My family has been camping here for about four years.. I think it started as our Fourth of July resolution
