Lamphier Lake

A gorgeous hike to a lake with solitude and salamanders! Few people come here, making it a superb place to leave the "world" behind. Moderately tough hike, but worth every step.

Native cutthroat trout fishing lake high in the Colorado mountains. Not a lot of people, super quiet, zero cell phone service! Just you, whoever hiked up with you, and the mosquitoes.

Easy hike. Excellent fishing.
