11.5 mile hike (round trip) from the 2 wheel drive area or 6.5 if you drive in to the 4wd trailhead (quite rugged terrain). Beautiful alpine lake and great view of Huron and the 3 Apostles… well worth it!

Beautiful hike, accessable off 4wd road. Lovely waterfalls on the climb up.
