Grizzly Lake

The lake makes the trek truly worth it! The trail leading up to the lake will test your 4x4 vehicle. I wouldn’t recommend trying the trail solo. The gatekeeper obstacle at the very beginning wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be, but I’m on 37’s now. The trail itself starts off with a steep incline, and it stays pretty rocky throughout. The shelf road has a sheer drop so stay on the trail. One section is slightly dug out, and makes for a technical advance. But when you get to the end, wow! Would have been even better with more light, but still fantastic views!

What a spectacular view if you can hike the trail up or have a very well built rig

Difficult to access, but well worth the effort. This place is beautiful.
