Cumberland Pass in Colorado offers beautiful mountain scenery and some exhilarating trails, but be prepared for a busy and crowded experience. The area is popular with side-by-sides, and unfortunately, not everyone seems to respect the shared space, which can make the experience less enjoyable. If you're looking for solitude, this might not be the best choice, but for those who enjoy off-roading and don't mind the crowds, it's still worth a visit.
This was my favorite trail in the area! Probably because it was pretty easy to maneuver, not as rough as Tincup Pass, but still had beautiful views for miles! It was a great pass to take from Tincup to Pitkin and back, definitely recommend checking it out. It had several old mine entrances and shacks on the trail, so neat to see!
Pretty easy trail, compared to the other passes on the loop. Like most high alpine passes in Colorado, the views are worth your time, and don’t get old!
After seeing this area, I am left with many questions. I will be researching the area as soon as possible. Beautiful is an understatement. It offers something for everybody! Leaf peeping, photography, atv-ing, all outdoor activities!
Perfect place to get high on four wheels
