Lake Manyara is particularly famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare phenomenon that adds an intriguing twist to the safari. Watching these lions perched on the branches of acacia trees is one of the most memorable moments you can have in Tanzania.
During my visit, I had the chance to observe a pride of lions resting in the trees, blending seamlessly into the landscape. The sight was both surreal and awe-inspiring, reminding me of how unique Tanzania’s wildlife is.
5. Selous Game Reserve

One of the highlights of Selous is the opportunity to enjoy a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can observe wildlife from a completely different perspective. Whether on land or water, the Selous offers an unforgettable safari experience.
